Tonight we received our third Shadowmourne which went to Nukon! I Guess this means we can't really ask him to go frost any more! Grats!

Tonight we got down the filler boss on hardmode that Blizzard had provided to tide us over to Cataclysm. Although The Lich King was the official last boss of this expansion Halion is technically the last boss - so we have now both officially and technically cleared all content! Well done to everyone involved, we got it down pretty quickly (and also big thanks to the DPS for putting up with the queue for this boss!).

As the title says, tonight we finally got our Lich King 25 Heroic kill. After months of effort and a week of not being able to use all our tries due to extended maintenance (including a 12% wipe), Blizzard pushed the buff up to 25% and we rather unsurprisingly and comfortably killed him on our first attempt of the evening. Big well done to everyone for the effort put in and the kill itself and grats to Gurdor on the first of many Invincibles.

Well, wow, what a night! We cleared up to LK in ICC and thought we'd just quickly clear ToGC (using 2 off-spec healers), and not only did we get the things that we pray for weekly (RotD and non-strength cloak) but we also achieved the feat of strength - A Tribute to Immortality! Really good work everyone who was there (and also everyone who wasn't but helped along the way!) Hopefully we can get it again sometime! Realm first also!

Tonight we received our second Shadowmourne which went to Bob - very well deserved! Stamina gems?! In Shadowmourne?! Tears will flow! Grats!

Today we managed to complete all the requirements for the 25man Glory of the Icecrown Raider Meta, good job everyone, the Wyrms look pretty much identical to the 10-man ones, but a bit more blue!

Well, wow. Tonight we got the realm first kill of Lich King 10-man hardmode, it's an incredibly challenging fight but absolutely incredible. We actually did it in the end using a Resto Shaman healer instead of a holy paladin (yes that's right! - well done Jerichoz). I'm not going to lie and say it was a clean kill, but it was the result of large amount of progression of tries gradually getting closer and closer. The result was an Enrage on 11.5% followed by myself and Adaptine kiting the boss around the room while Kiwi nuked it down. Amazing job everyone, special thanks go to Bubble who unlike the rest of us has important things he needs to sleep for and so wasn't there for the kill despite putting in a lot of effort for progression. Icecrown Citadel 10-man completed, bring on 25-man!

Well first things first, we completed our final hard-mode wing boss tonight killing Sindragosa on our first pull of the night. It's a pretty straightforward fight but it was nice to get it down so quickly after Putricide having spent so little time on it. Good work everyone! Now... Lich King hard-mode time! /shudder





In addition, we received our first (and server first) Shadowmourne tonight which went to Sieras, very well deserved so congrats to him! His DPS will be even higher now... Tanks beware!

This evening (after a couple of weeks of wiping) we got our third wing boss down! It was Professor Putricide, the "hardest" of the wing bosses - so hopefully you'll be seeing a Sindragosa screen-shot here soon! It was a nice kill and great to get him down after the effort we'd put into it and the progressively better wipes we'd been having. Especially after the frustrating server failure of the night before! Good job everyone!

Today we killed our second wing-boss 'RNG-bringer' Saurfang in hard-mode 25-man ICC. We'd had the other bosses down for a few weeks now, so it was nice to finish it up and get Saurfang down. We had a few wipes, then decided to just go for it with Ania in her newly acquired Boomkin gear, and one-shotted it with that setup! Good job everyone!
