Well that was a surprise! Tonight we went to Yogg-Saron to try and learn the hardmode fight and we ended up one-shotting it. Well done everyone, not a single person went insane and we beat the enrage timer very comfortably.

If you couldn't quite believe your eyes and thought you misread, you didn't - Heroic Mimiron hardmode down, really good job everyone. I think this has been the most satisfying kill and most fun fight of WotLK so far, the level of coordination and individual skill needed is incredible and it's one of the few fights where you can really see well-defined progress from wiping in phase 1 to transitioning all the way to phase 4 with no deaths. Grats Firefighters!

10-man Alone in the Darkness (Yogg-Saron with no watchers helping) completed, good job everyone - once we sorted out our phase 3 tactics it went down very easily and smoothly. Grats to Adaptine on winning the tentacle trinket, it seems very useful!

Hardmode General Vezax (Heroic: I Love the Smell of Saronite in the Morning) completed. Was nice to finally get him down, really well deserved kill and very clean when we got it. We only had one death which was... *drum roll* Shayne! (No surprises there.)

Well done to everyone who got their 10man Rusted Proto-Drake and completed Glory of the Ulduar Raider - Very well deserved! Hopefully we'll see some more over the next few weeks.

Rather disappointingly easy but incredibly nerfed Facerolluary (3-shot) and XT Hardmode (1-shot) dead, at least they're about as farmable as hardmode's get.

Good job, well deserved kill, I'm sure everyone's looking forward to never doing that again!
